Healthcare 411 Program Types
AHRQ produces 60-second programs that contain an interview with a health
care expert discussing a current health care topic. This podcast is also
suitable for radio broadcast and is shared with stations nationwide.
AHRQ also produces Public Service Announcements (PSAs): 30- to 60-second
audio or video spots that provide consumers with information on a variety of
health care topics. These PSAs are also suitable for radio and television
broadcast.
Archived Programs
Newscast: News programs that range from 8 to 10 minutes in length and
contain multiple stories about health and AHRQ’s research findings. Each
podcast contains a story with health statistics, an interview about research
news, and a feature with AHRQ Director Dr. Carolyn Clancy about navigating the
health care system.
Special Report (audio): An audio report that coincides with a press
release from AHRQ. These reports vary in length.
Special Report (video): An educational video containing information
about a specific health care topic. These videos are often part of an edited
series of which the original content is derived from a Milner-Fenwick or other
third party production.
Radiocast: A 60-second audio podcast that contains an interview on a
current health care topic suitable for radio broadcast.
ANR (Audio News Release): A 60-second news story containing health care
news and one or more soundbites from an expert.
Consumer/Quality Insider and Navigating Health Care: An interview with
AHRQ Director Dr. Carolyn Clancy on a health care topic for consumers. These
segments vary in length.
Clinician Insider: An interview with AHRQ Director Dr. Carolyn Clancy on
a research topic of interest to clinicians. These segments vary in length.
